Refrigerator won’t stay cold

Please help my freezer stays cold but my refrigerator won’t stay cold. It gets cold then I put a few items in it and it gets warm it will not stay cold. My freezer is constantly cold so I am unsure why the refrigerator won’t.

Does the freezer stay below freezing temps? If so, maybe you just need to add a fan inside the refrigerator to move the cold air around.

Yes the freezer stays below freezing. Do I just use any type of plug in fan?

I mounted a small 12V computer fan in mine. I zip tied it to a shelf in the fridge and ran the power line out through the hole that the drain line went through in the back inside of the fridge. Then, I simply spliced the power leads to a wire that carried 12V when the fridge was on. It wasn't hard to do. The PC fan requires very little current to operate and has been trouble-free for years.

I directed the airflow over the cooling fins below the freezer.

I think though, from what you are saying, that your fridge would cool down again if you waited long enough (12 hours or more). Are the items you are putting in already cold? This small fridge is not like your household one. It doesn't have a large cold space to compensate for anything that is not cold.

We plug in days before a trip and bring the fridge to temp.

Freeze stuff we will eat later in the week.

Refrigerator fan.

I got a cheap cube fan from my RV dealer. It takes 1 size c battery.Insert battery and place inside fridge. Chill and freezwe all food before placing in ref. that has been lit up 12hrs. prior. I use some skinny ice packs in my freezer and some fatter ones. The next day you can place the ice packs in the ref.
