Default Camping in Asheville, NC

Took my two daughters and granddaughter to Asheville, NC for 4 days. We stayed at Lake Powhattan which turned out to be beautiful when seen in person. Our camp site was at least 70 to 100 feet wide and 150 and more deep. Our site had electric, water and sewer. Behind our site was a trail that took you to the lake, where you could fish or feed the ducks plus there was a waterfall. If we took the car and took a lot of steps, we could go to the beach for swimming, in warmer weather of course. Bathrooms were more than clean, as well as, the showers. No store at this campground so make sure you bring your stuff. Were able to buy fire wood but some young campers found dead wood for us to use. Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone. jANICE

Default camping report

Glad to hear you had a good camping trip. The weather in Niagara Falls has been summer like lately. I've been in my HiLo the last three days for short periods of time. Itching to go camping. Yuck, next Friday is only going to be 49degrees.
