Cherokee NC Are
 

We are presently planning a trip to Cherokee/Great Smoky Mountain area and have never camped there. If anyone has any camping experience in this area, i.e., great places to camp and things to do and see, we would love to hear about it. Still cannot get dear husband to do any dry camping, so camping would need hookups. Do you get chilly evenings up there in late August and September?
