Desert camping with Vintage trailer group

Took our Hi-Lo to a Vintage trailer get together . Mine is not vintage but I love looking at the old trailers . A group called the Arizona Roundup put it on. They are comprised of a group of friends who camp throughout Arizona year-round in either vintage or teardrop trailers. This is a time to celebrate the fun and the pleasure of owning a vintage trailer. It's a great opportunity to show off your trailer as well as experience those of other trailer-loving camp friends.
The event was in south west Arizona about 25 miles from the Mexico border in a little town called Why , Arizona at the Coyote Howls campground. No electricity but they had water . A real basic campground that was made by cutting in roads in a natural Desert setting. awesome views , loved the place. And yes the coyotes howled on and off all night.
About 25 vintage trailers came to the get together, They give me the bug to get one , but most of them don't have bathrooms , the wife says no way. we had a great time, everyone invited you over to look at there trailers , enjoyed getting to meet them, and share a campfire with.
Oh and the weather wasn't bad either , Nice warm 80s in the day, and cool 50s at night by the fire.

Vintage trailers

Thanks for sharing pictures. I have been passing these long winter nights reading blogs about restoring vintage Airstream trailers. On average it takes you three years and thousands of dollars in parts and your free labor. They are sturdy when done correctly.

Sam,
No connection just a local guy who has a business doing what he loves.

Or maybe it is this guy - they are both in the Heber Valley near Park City.

Several professional restorers are located at several states in the USA. Thanks for the links. Many of the blogs are from private individuals doing their own restorations.
