Mingus Mountain campground in AZ
 

Just got back from 3 days at Mingus Mountain campground which is 30 miles from Prescott Az. The high was 81 compared to the 106+ in Phoenix where I live. 7645 elavation in the pines , very nice with great views of the Verde Valley far below the campground. Even saw a couple deer just as it started to get dark , sorry they were way to fast for a picture.
3 miles of dirt road to get there , but other then that a great place with only 24 sites , some right on the overlook , and all electric.

Absolutly beautiful!

We went up to Mingus a couple times when we had our popup. Absolutely love it up there. We too live in Phoenix. We are looking at a 1965 Hi-Lo tomorrow... hoping it's in the condition it is said to be in.
