Bunk Bed removed and Install?

I'm picking up a "new to me" bunk bed next week at the Ralley. We were camping this weekend and I was looking at ours and I'm not sure how we're going to get it out of their door and into ours? It will fit but I think it will be hard to turn to get lined up. We could remove the side window to get it out/in but that would be a lot of work. Hopefully can just use the door. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks

boater454,

One of our club members removed their bunk from their unit. They will be at the rally. Look me up at the rally, site #104.

I took mine out of my 95T, 21ft. and it will come out, you need 2 people to maneuver it around.

Good to know Rich. The people I'm buying it from are staying at the Rally. I'm coming over Wed. or Thursday to pick it up from them. I'm not able to stay at the Rally. I'm not bringing my trailer to pick it up, but if they can get it out their door I should be able to get it in mine. ( Same Model trailers). It will be nice to see everyone I just wish we could stay, but I need to work that week.

bunk bed

I had to remove mine out temporarily while I needed to paint the ceiling, it does require 2 or more people to get it out, and I got it out thru the door, not really that hard.

I removed mine and it is not that hard right through the door. :D

OK that's good to know!

Turns out I did have to remove the dinette back closest to the door in order to get in and turned. Not too difficult except that the wires for the lift switches pass through it. Got the bunk in position now and it looks good. Looking forward to my son trying it out next trip!

My bunk is in the front and my door is in the right mid-rear. That's why I had to remove the dinette. The trailer I go it out of had a front bunk, front door and it came right out.
