Default Interior wall damage

First thread, new owner of an 88 hilo bon voyage. nice set up and everything is working well, ac/heat hot water. even the old radio/tape deck. just have some wall damage from leaks. upper halves only. on both sides at front and at rear right. will need to work on these. i have seen where i need to lower top onto some 2x4's. just needing some help and ideas.

thanks. CBailey

Welcome to the forum. Do a search on renovation or restoration and you'll find plenty of tips, advice, pictures. etc. I'm sure Sam will chime in. She did a major renovaton on her trailer and has some great info on her project. I'm fortunate that I haven't had to do anything like that on my 10 year old trailer. (Knock on wood!)

Default interior wall dammage

Welcome to the forum. Your trailer is constructed with metal framing. If you have the time and materials it is worth repairing. You should be handy. See my posting of 4-6-2014. It gives the link for my photo bucket word descriptions and pictures of our restoration. This is another posting that will describe how position the 2x4s. It is called outline for replacing the roof gasket. 4-3-2010 by Sam shields. Take lots of pictures before you ripout so you remember drapery hardware replacement. Take old paneling out carefully so you can use it for patterns. I always wish I lived closer so we could help out. Ask any questions and I will help you every step of the way.
