Light lense crushed during travel!
1 Attachment(s)
One of the light lenses that lowers down over our wardrobe was crushed during travel. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not sure why it was designed to rest so close to the countertop!

The cables shouldn't be holding the top when it is in the down position. The weight of the top should be supported by the "outriggers". First thing I would check is to see if the rubber rests on the outrigger and the corresponding spot on the upper half are there. It's also possible that the top half lower frame rail is damaged in this area.

Good thoughts!
The back outrigger does seem tweaked a little, AND the rubber rests are pretty worn out. I wonder if I can buy a new set of those. |

If you needed to keep the top up higher, just use four hockey pucks in their original thickness. - Jack |
I used 3/4" pex pipe.
Use a strip of 3-4 inches and screwed to the frame. It gives rise and cushioning. And cheap and available anywhere. I needed to install in 6 spots on my hi-lo. |
Pex pipe's a great idea, renoites! Wish I'd thought of that. Still, the hockey puck works too.
