I was chatting with a fellow camper who was very impressed with the Hi Lo system. During the conversation, he mentioned humidity that plagues us all. His cure was a home de-humidifier, admittedly too big for his tiny trailer. This got me to thinking about the humidity that attacks out metal roofs from the inside. For most of us, the age of our Hi Los makes too late. But, it can be arrested (not stopped) to some degree. I now have a rubber roof, but why not control the wet to some degree.
Amazon sells a small unit, Serenelife PDUMID35 that dehumidifies 1600 cubic ft. If your lucky enough to have shore power connected to your trailer full time, this little unit works great. Auto shut-off when full, you can use this distilled water to top off the batts. Mine has been in use in this VERY humid Florida weather for about 6 months. I empty it every two days (if I remember). When I first enter Hi Lo, I swear, you can feel the difference!
Just a little info, might work for southern folks, don't remember too much humidity in winter up north. Again, I'm not compensated by any product/company.
