DH installed a new bar faucet at the kitchen sink. This weekend we went camping and he had to gently tighten it somemore with a wrench. We even found a brushed nickel swivel sprayer at our neighborhood Hardware store. It tends to put water at the back of the faucet/counter. I just sop it up. Very happy with the new faucet. We used lexel caulk as part of the install. I kept the old faucet as it wasn't leaking . The old faucet cleaned up pretty good. Don't know why I saved it. The new faucet just makes it in the down position. I wanted to post pictures. The computer wasn't cooperating. Hopefully it will work another day as I also want to post some vacation pictures. Our next mod was replacing the huge AM/FM Casette deck Radio. DH has a background in electrical electronics. He needed an Antenna extension. Four stores later he found one at AutoZone. He installed the car Radio and he couldn't get it to turn on. Fifteen minutes on hold he got to talk to tech support. He had to install an on/off switch. Time crunch had to pick up DD from work and be on our way to the campground. He found a toggle switch in his spare electronic parts. He installed this the next day. The radio would play some of the time until the AC compresser would kick in. Huge hum..time for a filter capacetor. It has been too blasted hot for him to do the capacetor install. Next I want him to remove the BR faucet knobs so I can clean them up. Pictures sometime this week!!
