Outrigger Support Pads

Hello everyone,
My outrigger support pads were worn down pretty bad to the point that the top halve was very very close to resting on the fridge cabinet. I researched Youtube and found a Trailmanor owner that replaced his support pads, (which are the same size as on HiLos) with this Styrene Butadiene Rubber strip he found on Amazon. This is a very dense piece of rubber which works great to support and cushion the weight of the top halve on the outriggers. I tried the Hockey Puck method which was suggested by a HiLo forum member to support the top halve, but they just squished down flat with the weight of the top halve. Maybe I purchased the wrong ( and cheap hockey pucks), who knows.

This is what I ordered from Amazon (around $10): Small Parts 33-007-500-002-036 SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) Sheet, 70 Shore A, Black, Smooth Finish, No Backing, 1/2" Thickness, 2" Width, 36" Length. https://a.co/d/a5Tc614

I cut four pieces to size (1 in. x 5 in.) with a utility knife from this rubber strip, (which by the way I now have an additional 26 inches leftover for future use). I used the old pads to mark and drill the screw holes. This solved my problem!! Yay!!

Thanks for the info! I’m looking to replace as well!

That's a good find, Angel. I was the one who used the hockey pucks and they've held up fine - I can't imagine any hockey pucks "flattening", but the 1/2" rubber sheet looks perfect for the task.

I've "stuck" your thread since this seems a reoccurring problem.
