Part Number or Force for 2805C Gas Strut for Tip Out

Dear Campers,

I have a gas strut on my 2805C tip out that has dropped pressure. I understand that gas struts usually have an attached label these do not. Does anyone know the pound force of these gas struts? I have the compressed and extended dimensions and all that I need it the force or if there is a part number on yours, please share.

Thank you.

Hello Campers,
I needed gas struts for the tip-out on my 2805C I found that 35 to 40 lbs. is the force needed. I purchased a 2 pack of 20-inch 40lb/178 Gas Strut Spring Shock off of Amazon. They work great.

Thanks for posting this, Pierre. Finding the correct replacement for a failing gas strut is my biggest hangup in having these things on my vehicles (or in your case, a trailer). It shouldn't be so hard to get a replacement, but it IS.
