OK, here are the things I changed.
removed jack-knife couch/bed
Installed a table and seating in its place. I sewed the covers for the new cushions and also the pull out couch. Also laminated the table.

Removed the stove/oven
Installed a stove top. In the space where the oven occupied, I installed a full slide out shelf for my Dometic ice maker. Installed vent fan in cabinet for ice maker ventilation.
Also installed new formica to most of counter.

Painted and stained.

It was quite a project.
Going back to Florida in Feb for 3 months trip

Looks good! Did yours have the sofa in front? Did you put the sofa where the dinette was or just leave it out? I wanted to change my floorplan in that way in my 88, but sofa was too long to put in where the dinette was. Like the cushions. Wish you were local I would pay you to do my upholstery. LOL. I can do a lot of things but sewing isn't one of them. That's about all thats left to do on the inside of mine. Very nice job!

Nice job Reno! Funny thing about upholstery- years ago my Dad did it (self-taught) and tried to teach me as a teenager but I had no interest. Now I kick myself for not learning.

I am a self taught at sewing. I have made seat covers and Hang glider bags forever.
It really isn't hard to do. But an older all steel Pfaff machine, that is only 3 years younger than I am, made it all do-able.

We kept the dinette bed and deleted the jack knife in favor of the bed/table configuration.
Having to transport that large table and muscle it around in the trlr to sleep was one issue. We took tv tables this last trip. Which worked OK, but not the best for playing dominoes. You can see you opponents bones easily.
Gives the trlr a much larger space feeling with the long table removed, and no issue with storage.

"Reno" has been my moniker since before I came here to live. I also see that we have a member that has that name. Wife wanted to be included this time on a forum.
