Default Renovating 1968

Hi everyone!
I just recently bought a 1968 Snyder hi lo and don't know anything about it! I'll scour the forums but I do have a couple questions if there is anyone reading that has a similar model...

Does anyone know of a proprane refrigerator that is roughly the same size as this old ice box that is in it... and how difficult it would be to hook it up myself (I'm pretty handy!)

This model has a hydraulic lift for the pop top and it currently works really well... do you know if there is also a manual crank that is hiding somewhere? I'd hate for it to stop working when on the road....

Thanks! Fun adventure this is going to be getting to know this old lad.

Default Sever of our members have HiLos of this vintage.

Do a search for back posts of this year. Looks like what you have is in very good shape. Enjoy your new toy. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the Forum!

It looks like you got a real gem.

I can only address the fridge. It looks very similar to those in popup tent campers. What you would need to do is get good measurements on the opening that is there and try and match it up to what is now being sold. Also, see what if you can get the make and model from your fridge and do a google search for to maybe find a manual for it that could help with some info. Most RV fridges are either Dometic or Norcold.

Here is an example:https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/...erators_RM2193

Kadin, that trailer IS COOL! Roof rack for the canoe/kayaks, don't know if I'd use the rear trailer ball, but it's there. Simple to use rear stabilizers. Inside looks to be in fantastic shape. I truly know nothing about that era, but never heard of a back-up crank system.
Best of luck doing the rehab.
