Will this site log you off in short order if you are using an ad-blocker?

If I post a reply more than a few sentences I,m told that I am not logged in.:rolleyes:

I don't think so - I've used AdBlock Plus AND Ghostery together for as long as I've been a member here and this was well before I was made a "Site Team" member too. I've never been logged off the site, no matter how long I've been connected and no matter what I'm doing. I use FireFox as my browser, if that makes any difference too.

You caould certainly disable your ad blocker on the site to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks Jack for your always quick reply. I use Firefox also and have disabled Adblock off and on with mixed results, just trying to eliminate all the usual suspects.

I wonder if it's something in your ISP? I've never noticed the problem you posted about except for when I'm accessing my banks, online. And even then, I have to be inactive for a pretty long time, maybe about 5 minutes? Of course I realize that's a safety measure designed to protect me.

Yeah, I don't know, I'll try to figure it out. If it wasn't for this Covid mess I'd have my 13 yr. old niece over. She would have it resolved in about 3 minutes.
