Default Chrome Update - Security Patch ASAP

Hi folks - Please update chrome at the very first opportunity if you have it installed on your PC/laptop (even if you are not regularly using chrome).

An important security update patch was released by google on Friday and action is needed.

Dee if you are concerned please do your own research .. you can google "chrome security update" or something similar. It is an important update and you need to act.

Dee, and Janet - I simply downloaded the latest update to chrome. It's perfectly safe to do this from the Chrome website, if you go there yourself and not through an email link. The Chrome release website shows there is indeed an "exploit" that the update addresses, but it doesn't give any real details: https://chromereleases.googleblog.co...esktop_25.html It DOES say it's a "security fix" though.

An easy way to update Chrome safely, is to go to Help|About within the Chrome browser. That should automatically download the update if there is one.

Thank you, Janet - for letting us know about this.

- Jack
