Default Arizona Hilo Club

Arizona HiLo club information

Yes Arizona still has an active HiLo Club. Due to our weather we camp in the Fall and Winter. We are looking for new members. Not all of our members have HiLo's most of our members had a HiLo and moved up to motor homes or other brand travle trailers. The attached News letter contains contact information.

Default Where to get newsletter

We have inherited a Hi-Lo when my father (Paul Gillespie) passed away, he managed the website for the AZ hilo profilers. We aren't as free to travel as he was, but would like to receive the newsletter and try to participate in some of the outings.
Thanks

Hi,

I just bought my 2nd Hi Lo, a 1967 Hi Lo Voyager. I posted "1967 hi lo chain lift" to get more information from Hi Lo members.

I am looking for the Hi Lo club for Arizona. Should I contact Terry Fischer?

bump for the above. Or if anyone can recommend a good company or person to take a look at mine. Nothing wrong at the moment (that I can tell) but would be nice to be reassured by someone who knows a lot about them. Thanks!

I'm a Hi Lo owner in Tempe AZ looking for a good quality cover for my Type: Travel Trailer 24TD FD221. I don't intend to cover the spare tire or propane bottles, so my dimensions are 21 ft X8 ft X 5ft. Do you have any suggestions where I could get something this size? The commercial covers that I have been able to find are either too short or too narrow.

Hi Richard - check out this source: http://www.calmarkcovers.com/

They will make a custom fit cover for you and I'd highly recommend you get Sunbrella brand fabric. Nothing else will stand up to our Arizona sun. I'm still using a Sunbrella cover I bought 9 years ago. (But it's about ready to give up the ghost).

- Jack

Welcome to the forum. I agree with Jack. Sunbrella is an awesome cover. The desert Southwest is brutal on covers. Camping World has covers for Hi-Lo's as well. Probably not as durable but priced a lot less.

I am a new owner of a 1969 Tow Low 17ft model 400 deluxe. My wife and I re-hab small vintage travel trailers as a hobby and acquired this one just after Christmas. Have been working on it since and excited to use it, definately a keeper! We would be interested in a group here in Arizona as well as any other local Tow Low owners.

Silly question, but have you contacted Hi lo directly. I got my cover from etrailer.com and I have a 2002 24D Silver Edition. I believe I just Googled my model and found it. Good luck!
