Towlite? the bottom section has lost the wooden framing at the very bottom. thats how we bought it. thanks

Some of us have had to rebuild our upper section door. If you are not handy perhaps you could find a carpenter or a handy man to do the job. The place that did repairs is no longer. They have retired.

As Sam mentioned, a lot of us HiLo owners have had to rebuild the upper door section. I purchased some thin plywood at a big box store and used my original defective panel as a guide to cut out the openings. A new door if you can find one is very expensive! Mine turned out OK.

DH had to rebuild our upper door on our Classic. Most times the rebuild is better than the original.

Welcome to the forum. I need to do mine as I have the same damage due to the glass sliding down the frame. It is a fairly easy fix and I agree, it will be better than the original and less expensive than a new door. If I remember right, the upper door was listed around $695.00. Good luck.

Interesting, Ruben. I had the same problem with the glass in my upper door and fixed it myself too, probably at least 15 years ago. I THINK I used plastic in the repair and realized later I could have done it a better way, but it's held up just fine. My recent drive over the VERY rough 40 mile dirt Cottonwood Canyon Road in Utah certainly put it to the test.

Jack, Glad to hear that it held up. Gives me a little more confidence that I can do it. I saw the gap where the window had slid down too late water had entered and damaged the wood inside.
