Yes you're right, I thought about taking it to a scale. Then I thought .... what difference does it make now. I bought it, I own it, I have to tow it. Actually, it should have been part of the buying decision. The trailer has brakes and my truck is rated to tow 9500 lbs and it tows it fine. The weight distributing hitch and suspension air bags compensate for the tongue weight. Although, I probably exceed the hitch rating. But, I still think about going to a scale because I'm curious.

Looks like 4 lift cables, 2 attaching points on each side of the top. I didn't go underneath to count, I'm wearing a clean shirt.

I wouldn't feel right if I didn't strongly suggest you get your trailer weighed. It is a must to have the right tow vehicle for your trailer weight. The weight of gear,people,water and propane all factor in. Keep us posted.
