Default New (and 1st time) camper owner!

We are a family of 3 and decided to get our hands on a 2007 Towlite 19 foot Hi-Lo this past weekend. I'm joining here to get a feel for the Hi-Lo community, plus to see pictures of everyones cool campers, renovations and such.

It has had some minor water damage, so i think we'll have to venture into the fun of peeling back one of the walls and rebuilding it back to good wood. I'm not the handiest person on Earth, so i'll be browsing threads to see if anyone has endured the same project. The leak has been sealed, so i don't believe the water damage will be a recurring issue.

The other main thing I need to learn is what cables do what, what hoses to what, when to power this up and in what sequense, etc. I don't want to burn something up or break something down because I didn't know what order to do what in. So, looking for advise & education.

We look forward to being happy campers!!

Welcome, kmr! Spend some time looking through this entire forum. All of the issues you mentioned have been covered. In particular, for operation, review all the videos in this thread: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f49...-youtube-1233/
starting at Post#3.

Default Welcome to the forum.

Many of us have had to do extensive wall water damage repair. Our water got in because we didn't understand the need to take out all the windows and reseal. This should be done when the RV is 5 to 6 years old. We will answer any questions you may have. I am also a family of three adults in a 1996 26ft. Classic HiLo. This is our second HiLo. I sent you a PM.
