I have a 1993 Hi Lo classic I think 18 or 20' depending on where you measure from. This is our first camper and we are excited to go from a tent to this....:)

Welcome! Hi Los are measured from the center of the ball to the rear bumper. On the left side (street side) there should be a sticker, and with luck, it will give you a lot of info. Date of mfg, tire size, and load ratings, vin number, etc. We have kin near Camp Dearborn.

Thanks then it has to be at least 20' because I measured 18' of usable space. If you saw the pic you can tell this camper is in great shape. I bought it off a old couple who only used it to go watch there grandkids at 4H. So far I have everything working except I have not tried to ignite the furnace yet. We are very happy...

Holzie My method for lighting the furnace or the water is to turn the gas on, go inside turn on the stove and light it. Then I know I have flow. Turn off the stove and turn on the furnace. Mine lights automatically (water heater also), with a flip of the switch. You may have to light yours at the source in the conventional way. turn the knob to pilot, push in the button, and using a candle lighter or long match, light the pilot and hold the button for a few moments until it remains lit. Then turn the knob to light the flame. After a few times, you'll get used to it. It will take a while for the gas flow to get to the furnace.

Thanks treeclimber, I do no that my furnace and Hot water are suppose to start automatically by pushing the red button by the control panel inside. I used this to start the Hot water tank and it worked. How or what do I do if I say only want to start the furnace but not the hot water tank? Or do I have to start both at the same time? I tried turning the furnace switch on below the thermostat and then turning thermostat up all the way. Then pushing red button but nothing happened except the hot water tank lit. I wonder if its possible for air to still be in the line going to the furnace since it is located farthest away from the tanks.

That's the most probable reason. It does take time, and several lighting attempts before my water heater lites. It's all the way in the back. When you put the furnace switch in the on position and raise the temp, it should start and run after several attempts to light. If it does not - the troubleshooting begins. I'd start by inspecting the oreface, spiders like that area and their webs block airflow and don't burn. I use a computer vacuum and a small bottle brush for that area. Let us know how you make out.

Usually the refer fan switch is on an exposed side of the refer housing along with the water pump switch.

In the reference library, click on Owners manuals -- The first one is a well indexed group of "how to" videos, thanks to sting32, covering most everything, from raising/lowering and operational systems on the Hi Lo. May take a while to open, but worth it. I actually saved this link to my "favorites".
