Default New potential owner of a Hi-Lo

I am on the hunt for a used Hi-Lo. When I called the current manufacturer their announcement stated that they no longer have any parts for any campers made before 2012. I am looking at a 1998 camper. What do people do when they need parts or appliances?

The original Hi-Lo company went out of business in 2010. Another group purchased the rights to the name (and engineering plans as I recall, but don't hold me to it) and have started making Hi-Los again. I believe they only offer 1 model at the present, but again, don't hold me to that.

Most RV parts (and appliances) are generic and can be found at various RV supply houses. Additionally, some employees of the original Hi-Lo company went into business for themselves when the original Hi-Lo company closed. They had worked there for years and purchased a lot of the remaining parts which are offered for sale, and they also do expert repair. You can find these two businesses at:

Good luck

Default Getting HiLo parts

Agree with previous poster about getting parts. Many of our forum members have found alternative places for parts. Everything on a HiLo is fixable. Use the Used HiLo check list in helping you select a used unit. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the responses. This makes me more comfortable in investing and something that is technically obsolete.

Default Getting RV parts

When you need a part just ask. Many RV manufactures have gone out of business. These RVS are called orphens.

Kerola is the company that produces the new Hi-Lo.
