Welcome from the north coast. Sweet looking rig! Hopefully it is the slope in the road causing the illusion, but the front of the trailer looks a bit low on the hitch.

It was low on the hitch to keep the rear from dragging backing up the hilly driveway . its raised to tow. a pain but something i have to do

You just have to do what you have to do to get the job done. 👍🏻

Nice looking trailer! congrats. If you ever have the inclination and/or money and/or weariness of of dragging the rear end------I added three inches clearance to mine by having the axles removed and then had spacers welded in and the axles re-attached. makes a difference- especially on hilly strip malls in places like Georgia where you bang going in and out of gas stations.

Welcome to the forum!

Yes I have been considering doing a spring over axle flip. still figuring everything out about the Hi Lo. 1st thing is new tires and grease the bearing buddy,s I have gone over all the plumbing/tanks and pump just had to tighten a few wing nuts on the faucets but i need a new grey tank cap. the a/c is ice cold. haven't checked anything yet that works off propane but for what I paid if anything needs attention it will be ok. the camper is almost in pristine condition. the elderly gentlemen I bought it from hardly used it at all

Default Welcome to the forum.

Looks like you picked up a good condition unit. Was it stored inside? I would recomend that you have your new tires balanced at the time of install. Lots of friendly folks on the forum that can answer any questions that you may have.

Rather than grease the bearing buddy I recommend that you pull the hubs and bearings, clean them, inspect, and repack.

What Rich said. You won't find many fans of Bearing Buddies on most RV forums. The general rule is what Rich said.

They're a way to grease your wheel bearings without taking them apart. You insert the grease though a grease fitting until it starts to ooze out. They were developed for trailers whose axles regularly go underwater like boat trailers. These need more frequent bearing lubrication replacement.

The biggest disadvantage of them is that you don't inspect your bearings for wear. And, you may have dirt inside that is not cleaned out.

Moonstruck,
My daughter lives in Cartersville! Small world. Lives in Cass Station, that's one reason for our liking the Lake camping. Just adding a note.
