Default Newbie to Hi-lo

Hi, It's nice to meet everyone! I purchased a 93 22' hi-lo and it's been an exciting experience so far. I am also new to travel trailers and the whole world of RVing /camping so I'm sure that it's adding to it.
I purchased this to go beach hopping and a project to redo to work on, so I am in need of some parts to make that happen. Does anyone know of a place or have a Hi-Lo they are parting out?
The trailer is in pretty good shape and all major items work but I would like to replace the top part of the door, reseal the top part ( any suggestions what to use for best results) and replace the door that goes over the battery compartment.
I have already reached out to J&R repairs to see if they have it. ( thanks for that info)
On a separate note, I'm enjoying the forum and all the knowledge everyone has on it. It's quite helpful.. I live in California and would like to connect with someone that I can speak to on the phone when I have questions or issues. Please let me know if there's anyone one here that would be up for that.
Again super nice to meet everyone !
Charleen

Hello Arizona here, go to forums and you should find the address to the place that has all the hilo parts. There is alot of helpful information there. Good luck!

Default Welcome to the forum.

If you could post a picture of the problem areas it would help us to help you. With a unit that old be sure to lube your cables/guide rod. All the problems you have mentioned are fixable. It is also advisable to remove all your windows and relign with butyl tape and Lexel or a like caulk. Utube has a video on how to do this.

Default Rebuilding top part of door.

1990 HiLo. DH had to take the top door off and rebuild it. If you aren't handy then perhaps find a handy guy or gal to fix this. Maybe a carpenter.
