Default Looking for a shower head/assembly

Hello all.... John and I are new to the forum and new to the Hi-Lo trailers. We just purchased a 1996 Fun chaser, which is in very good shape. Most repairs are cosmetic and just require some "elbow grease". I do have one situation that will require a replacement- which is the shower head assembly. Does anyone have a source that I could contact for the assembly?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !
Becke

Default Shower head replacement

I think this is a fairly commom part that your local RV dealer should have. You can do an internet search,Camping world. Is the part missing or just not there?

Welcome to the forum! Any hardware or big box store, like Lowes, Walmart, or Home Depot, should have the hose and shower head assembly in their plumbing section. These are a universal type assembly.

Do you need to replace because the showerhead leaks when the on/off is turned to off? If so, that is a safety feature and is normal.

Otherwise, check out the oxygenics showerheads on amazon.com. They have pretty good pressure while using less water.

Default showerhead assembly

Thanks for the suggestions! We have access to an RV shop which is close which carries the assembly but the connection that goes into the faucet on the wall is odd - it is offset - doesn't look like the ones for sale. Guess now that I have it off - I will take it with me and try to locate one.... really makes me wonder if my old one isn't the correct one for it either. We all know that can happen too

The bracket is broken off the head where it attaches to the holder on the wall up at the skylight. I couldn't get the head detached from the hose so I assumed that it was all one piece when removed it down from the faucet.

This is a learning project for me definately, but it is great training and a good way to understand our unique campers... LOL

Again - thanks for the info and all your help.

Post a picture and I or someone else can tell you if it is the original. The shower isn't unique to Hi-Lo that type is used in many trailers.

I was just in Ace Hardware yesterday and was amazed at the RV section they had. I just picked up a kitchen faucet for $25 that fits perfect.

Default showerhead replacement

since you are changing your showerhead, I would also change all your cone washers on all your plumbing fixtures. your rv dealer or your local hardware store has these. it is cheap insurance for what usually leaks first
