Selling my upper bunk It's Been Sold
I have a 22 ft HiLo and we never use the upper bunk but had someone ask if I might want to see it. After talking to my wife we said yes but what would be a fair price to ask? Yes mattress too. In fact they have never been used. The two previous owners only ended up using the trailer to sleep in while they remodeled their home. My wife and I don't have a need so that is about that. So if anyone could give me a fair idea what to ask for for the bunk that would be helpful.

I removed my bunk about 2 or 3 years ago and wound up giving it to a guy in Arizona and if I remember correctly, he had to pay about $200. in packing and shipping charges.

We have the opposite issue. Want to keep, and use the bunk. Replaced the foam, made new covers, but noticed the bunk has a slight slant toward the hitch side. Not sure if it is supposed to be like that to keep people from rolling out. Has anyone noticed the same thing with their bunk? Thanks

Hello. If your upper bunk is leaning, or slanted, downhill toward the front of the camper, it is because the top half of your camper isn't raising as high as it did when new. You'll notice that the two brackets for the bunk that attach to that particular side of the bunk are also attached to the front of the camper, whereas the legs on each side of the uphill part of the bunk rest on the bottom half of the camper on either side. You'll need to adjust your lift cables located on the driver's side between the two wheels of the frame rail in order to lift your camper's top height enough to level out the bunk.
