Quick questions for anyone: I have been in the process of repairing a whole lot of wood rot. The long rails, 3 by 31/2 wood rails of each side have been replaced. My problem is even though I have the sides held up, when I go to reattach the lift cables, they are really short, not long enough to go to the bottom like they were on the original side beams. I have build the new ones exactly like the old ones, however now the cables won't reach. Is there an adjustment that has to be made/loosened to reattach these cables?? Can't figure this one out. HELP. Thanks
