Wiring
Some 7-pin configurations switch reverse and 12V wires, it could be the 12v from the vehicle is in the opposite location of that on the trailer. The other thing it can be used for is running lights...

We are in Hinton, so not to far away.
We had ours out for the 2nd time this weekend, ended up running on propane to get the fridge cold, AC power wasn't cutting it.

The water tank itself is probably fine, they...
The water tank itself is probably fine, they insulate and then skin them before mounting them under the trailer. The problem is those tanks are heavy and standard tube steel is not up to the task.
