Poprichie - Yes, that is a great idea for the dump hose storage pod since it does not have a middle support at all. I plan to use this idea for that pod.

I finally figured out a simple way to support an open storage pod lid. All I had to do is bend a 6" mending plate and bolt it on so that it could be turned upwards to hold the lid open. It works...

Does anyone have ideas about what stays will work to hold up the storage pod lids or any creative method that will support the lid in the open position ? It is difficult to retrieve or place items...
