You can't actually "trace" the wire, but if you pull down the covering of the wire bundle that goes to the upper half, you should see where any yellow wires are joined to the bottom half with wire...

And, you MAY have rodent damage to that circuit. I did to my left rear stop/turn light. Check the wires for continuity with a multi-meter.
