When I go my Annual two plus week festival in September, mine is on gas for the journey down, as well as at least 2-3 days with the top down, and there's never been a problem yet!

Thumbs up Mine's been run for over 40 years!

I've run mine on gas while traveling for over 40 years! For clarification, the PO on my '76 did so, and I did too! Have had NO problems doing the same with my "new" 2000.:)
