If the fridge is working you will feel heat...

If the fridge is working you will feel heat coming from the upper outside vent. Or, pull the lower vent cover off and feel above where the flame is located, The chimney.

It's cold enough today...

Did you check the circuit breakers on the electrical panel? Switch them off then on to make sure they are on. There are also GFCI outlets that can trip, make sure they are reset. The cord you are...
