That brings up the question if there are gaps in the serial numbers. Our 1705 and 2310 did not have a big gap in the numbers. When Hi-Lo still had its website and you could go to dealers' inventory...

I don't know when they started sequential serial numbers but our 2310H has 60034 as the last digits of the VIN and a very few were made after that. All the VINs are sequential regardless of model.
