You are correct an oven takes the chill out as you are cooking breakfast. Just crack a vent. Tape out your layout and see if you have room for a top burner and oven. Seems like you could tap into the propane line. You sure have your work cut out for you with this rebuild/restoration.

Electrical wires in the HiLo. DH says many things in the HiLo are on one circuit. Cheaper to use a lesser gague wire with longer runs. How did you get out of your cabin with every thing being dead? Kind of left us hanging off a cliff with out the conclusion of the problem.

Refrigerator thoughts I have a cooler that keeps food cold for five days with ice. I have frozen water in empty milk or juice jugs. When it is thawed out I am left with cold filtered water. See what you can buy from the boating supplies. Dometic portable refs. are not cheap.
