I'm a big guy, 270lbs. Will the roof support me? I currently have the top down resting on the rails. I need to get up there and check the drain plugs and do some general maintenance to the unit.

I weigh approx 200 and the roof supports me fine, with no obvious weaknesses. You are adding 70# to that, so it COULD be "iffie". I think maybe it would be prudent to place a piece of 3/4" plywood on the roof and then sort of spread yourself out on that. The plywood will help to distribute your weight over a larger area than you would impose with your body - hands and knees, if you were on all fours. And of course, leave the top down when you're up there. It's less distance to fall if you slip off and the trailer is more stable than if it were raised.

While you are doing AC maintenance go on the inside and make sure the AC hardware is snug. It can loosen up with travel. Ask me how i know. The water came pouring down on the inside. Don't over tighten. This ensures the seal is doing it's job.

Found a dirt diver's nest that was on the condenser coils. It had collapsed into the drain pan. Spent about 45 minutes cleaning up the unit and digging dirt out of the drain pan. For anyone watching videos on cleaning the drain pan which will be for other units, the Duo-Therm 600 series Penguin drain pan appears to be black, fixed where the condenser coil is located with two drain slots either side, left and right.

Currently testing the unit. It's cooling better. No dripping and it looks to be draining well as seen from the exterior. I think I fixed it.

Now, waiting for a new cover to be delivered. I was planning to refurbish the old one by patching some cracks and holes, but it was so brittle, I didn't think it worth the effort or money.

So I'm guessing the roof held your weight? I have to get up on my 25C
I weigh 181 pounds. Please advise.
Thx. Mike

Oh yes, it should support you with no problem. I weigh 200# and have no problems with roof support when I get up on it.
