Cables, Pulleys and Ram lubrication

Does anyone have a way that makes it easier to lubricate the Hydraulic ram, the pulleys and the cables located underneath the trailer?
On our HiLo (1989RD) they are located between the tandem axles, where there isn't much room to crawl underneath the axles or
over them. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

The best way to lube the pulleys is to loosen them from the frame anchor point, remove the bolt and pulley and grease with silicone grease. Takes a while to do but works good. Can also use spray lube. It's messy but better than nothing. I like the Lubrication Engineers cable lube - - it is about $20 or $21. You can order it from their website if you set up an account. The best lube for cables is probably synthetic engine oil but it is messy to apply also. You usually have to rub a lot of it on with your hands. Yes, it is hard to get to all the cable runs because there is always something in the way. The main areas are the lengths of cable that pass over the pulleys. You can ignore straight runs that don't go over pulleys.

Have a skinny Grand Kid do it. A fat grand pa doesn't make it.

Begin by taking the covers off inside the camper. This will give you better access to the tops of thecables.
