Hello! We lowered our 2002 HI Lo RK 17 foot a few months ago. The battery is dead and we need to lift it. Any advise would be appreciated.
However, you'll have to wait for the battery to be charged! shore power alone will NOT raise the top. There's not enough Amperage from the converter. But, shore power MAY assist a weak battery enough to get the top up. The lift motor pulls around 50 Amps. The converter can only deliver around 7 Amps I think.I'd go with Jack's advice. Connect AC power and you'll be able to lift/lower the top.
Thanks for the help. My husband was able to use a jack, and we got the top up. Now we can get to the battery. We be replacing that very soon.Hello! We lowered our 2002 HI Lo RK 17 foot a few months ago. The battery is dead and we need to lift it. Any advise would be appreciated.
