Hello all, I have a 1988 Bon Voyage 27' and I need to find a cover. Adco seems to be the only company that makes Hi-Lo specific covers. Unfortunatley because my trailer is older and they don't make them this long anymore, I'm have zero luck finding cover. Any inout or links would be greatly appreciated. So far 22'6" is the biggest cover I have found for HiLo. This is the cover I'm looking at getting if I can't find a pop-up specific one. This will totally do the trick, it's just the issue of managing an extra 3' of cover in height. Thx again for your insight!

I knew of one couple that went to a Awning/boat canvas shop. They made a Sunbrella cover to fit the HiLo. It may be pricy. I cover our HiLo with a used cover I bought it from someone on this forum. Make it big enough to go over the propane tanks and the tongue jack. Wouldn't be with out one in my cold/snowy climate. If you have to have it made up in the dead of winter it might be cheaper labor. Make sure you pull all of your windows and line with butyl tape. Especially if you can't come up with a cover for this season. Take your RV to the actual place that will do all the work and let them measure.+ Blinds should be pulled for travel.

Tips for covering. I save all my buble wrap from packages. I also bought a big roll from SAMS club. I use the bubble wrap on any sharp areas. TV antenna ect. The sides where the roof ends are wrapped with Bubble wrap and Blue painters tape. Any residual tape goo is easily removed with GooGone in the spring. The straps that come with the cover are flimsy and not enough. I purchased a set of Ratchet straps at Harbor freight. The fiberglass finish is never ruined by the cover.

Thanks for the sharp edge input, I had to make a custom A/C cover and it has some sharper edges than the factory one it came with. I live in Colorado Springs and the winters here aren't too harsh, but I definitely want to cover it. I'm curious why you said to pull the windows and why the buytle tape? It only looks like the blinds are down in that pic, there are no blinds anymore, that's the actual side of the trailer. You use the ratchet straps in the grommeted hole instead of the straps they give you, as I'm understanding. I'll need to figure out how I'll be securing the cover, It seems like I'm going to get a cover for a full size travel trailer and I'll need to secure the extra length/height. I might put holes at the appropriate height for securing and back them up with some thick canvas sewn on around the new holes and grommetted. I'm pretty crafty and fabricate odd things for a living. I'll be calling ADCO and see if they make or can make a cover for a 27" hilo unless I can find one somewhere online. Thanks for your input and any other thoughts are welcome. Cheers D

If your windows have not been pulled I can guarantee from experience that they will leak and cause major wall replacement. When they are out they get new butyl tape. Look this up on UTUBE. If you get a larger cover per haps a shop can cut it off for you and hem it up for you. No one told us to raise our blinds for travel. This caused some damage that could have been easily avoided.

You don't need to make holes for the ratchet strap. Just put it on and tighten the strap up. You can use the strap that comes with the cover. They are just narrow.
