Got my hi-lo but not one key for the door or the compartments..where do I get a key or is this an out of the question thing?

Second, have the vent in roof with the little electric fan, but no fan blades of the fan.....where can I get the little fan blades??

Sorry about all the questions

Vent fan blades.

I'm thinking you are refering to the fan in the vent in the BR ceiling. Tell me if this correct and I will tell where to get this part.

Lengle, the key for the compartments are usually a generic CH751 Key. This key fits not only the compartments on my 96 Hi-lo but also fits the compartments on my 99 Aliner. Check with any rv place or friend with an rv and see if you can borrow or buy a key, if not PM me and I will have a key made for you and sent it snail mail. The key for the door maybe a bit harder to find. Does your door lock have both a dead bolt and a normal lock? Probably your best bet would be to call a locksmith and see what they have to say about making a key for your door. They may be able to change out the tumblers.
I just threw out my fan unit and replacing it with a Fantastic fan. You will need to get the size of the shaft on the motor and see if the shaft is round or D shaped, then do a google search for "rv vent replacement fan blade"

Good Luck

The vent is in the back half of the camper in the middle, you can crank it open to let air in or out and you can also push a switch which will turn a fan on. It has about a 14 .5 by 14.5 opening. So I guess in my camper a 94 towlite it is a bathroom, kitchen vent or fresh air vent.

lengle. I'm guessing your fan got sun rotted and lost its blades, just leaving the hub of the fan in there. I ended up replacing mine with a fantastic fan replacement vent that included the new vent cover. It's much quiter and more efficient than the original fan.

I will look into that and yes I think that maybe what happened. Heck everything else in the top half is (was, in the that stages of replacing) rotted out, so why not the fan,,lol:p

I'd advise replacing it with a Fantastic Fan. I've done that and couldn't be happier.

Will replace with the Fantastic Fan......later. Just looked them up and the entire rebuild has taken all and more of my funds. I will get the wiring in place capped off and ready for the new fan. Once I recover from the rebuild I will order the fan and install.

Know what you mean. I have $1200 and counting on my rebuild.

Cheers

We installed a Vortex fan. It works really well and was less expensive than the Fantastic Fan. If you look around, I think we got the vortex for $50.
