Need Help - Vent Pipe Thru Roof

Hi All,
Like is typical, on my 1993 21' Funlite, my telescoping sewer vent pipe is not attached to the roof as the pipe flange is broken off. I think I have a way in mind to fix that, but I first have to address two related issues:

1. I need to fix water damage around the part that goes thru the roof.

2. I would like to better align the lower part with the part that goes thru the roof, as when the roof is down, they are misaligned by about a half pipe diameter. I think I can address this by enlarging the hole in the top of the bathroom cabinet and covering it with an escutcheon as the cabinet itself cannot be moved.

My first issue is to fix the water damage around the vent pipe section that penetrates the roof. I have to remove the section of pipe to do that. I have the outside over off and have removed the screws from the inside "retainer", but have been unable to get either the inside or outside plastic parts separated from the short section of galvanized pipe the penetrates the roof. Who knew that plastic could "rust" in place to a galvanized pipe? Does anyone have any tips on getting these pieces apart other than cutting off either the inside or outside plastic pieces? I think the pipe will pull out either way - it is loose and twists, but the plastic fitting are too large to go through the hole in the roof.

If I end up having to cut plastic pieces off, does anyone know of a source for replacement parts?

Thanks in advance!!!

After several attempts, I cannot figure out how to attach photos to show you what I am dealing with. I could only get one photo attached to the previous post and cannot get any to attach to this reply. This is the worst forum I have ever used in regard to attaching photos. I am using the FireFox browser in case that matters.

EDIT: I just tried Chrome and it works (actually doesn't work) exactly the same, so I don't think this is a browser issue.

Sometimes I can get one photo to attach, but it is random if that works. I was able to edit the above posts to get one photo each, but cannot attach a photo to this reply. I am giving up. Hopefully the two photos help you help me. Thanks in advance.

I'm attaching two files as a test. I just clicked on the paper clip ("Attach files") button at the bottom of the reply dialog, and then selected and opened pictures of a sunrise and sunset - the first at my home and the second at Kodachrome State Park in Utah. I notice there's also an "Insert Image" icon in the top toolbar of the dialoge, but I didn't use it

Sadly, I don't have any real suggestions for your vent pipe. Your configuration is VERY different from mine. Mine extends from the top of the sink cabinet to the roof, and I don't know that there is any galvanized pipe in it, but since I've never had trouble with it, I haven't looked for that.

Only call if you plan to buy from my RV Dealer. Mantelli Trailer Sales Inc. Ask for Jay Simon in parts. 716=625-8877 or Fax 716-625-8395 He will ship parts to you. He will need to see the pictures of your set up.

Thanks. That rubber coupler is my plan because the rim broke off the sliding pipe.

I did get the pipe thru the roof out by cutting a slot in the plastic ring on the inside. I have glued in some wood spacers between the inner and outer skins for stability and will soon be reinstalling the pipe thru the roof and then I can work on the sliding pipe.

EDIT: I think I solved the photos issue. I had to resize them smaller before attaching them. The option I once saw to attach a "thumbnail" is not being offered to automatically resize them and I got no error message telling me the photos were too large. The user interface could be improved.
