Hi there. Our new-to-us 1989 Hilo needs all new shades for the lamps. I can't find them anywhere! We finally found some at Lamps Plus and they don't fit. It isn't the shade that doesn't fit - it is the fitting that goes onto the bulb. It is too big and from looking online, they all have that same size fitting. I found some others at an RV store and they don't attach the same way so they won't work. Ours clip onto the lightbulb itself.

Any ideas where I can find some?

We also need to replace the shower curtain. Just curious what others have done when their shower curtain needed replacing. Ours is two pieces. Is that how yours is too?

Thanks for the get well wishes. I feel mostly okay. When my surgeon feels better from his respiratory infection then I can have the hernia/bowel obstruction repaired with a six week recooperation. If I end up in the Hosp. one more time I may ask for another surgeon as I want to get the problem taken care of. Then after that I can have the shoulder surgery I need to get rid of a very bad case of bursitus. The funnever ends. Any way I have a 90 Classic and I too had to replace lampshades. Ended up ordering from,Ohio. Paid a bloody nose. Of course,I found them at two stores in later years. If you would like I can purchase them for you and mail them to you. Just let me know how many you want. My shades were rusty and yellowed. The new ones have held up very well. I may not need the light fixtures as my hubby wants to change them out to led. I really like the lampshade style and hope we can just change the bulb. I'll try to do the research on this in the next couple of days. Tomorrow hubby has the day off from work and we are going to work on the trailer all day.

I found my lamp shades at a hobby/craft store called Hobby Lobby for my older Hi-Lo about 2 years ago. As for shower curtain I bought 2 of the same kind as one won't work it's not wide enough. If fabric you hem it if plastic you cut cut it off to fit. I've done both ways that's a personal choice between cloth or plastic.

I have a hobby lobby store about 15min. away from my house it is in the Walmart plaza. Let me know if you want me to purchase them. I am in the plaza quite frequently. Just remembered Hobby Lobby has a 40% off a regular priced item/coupon each week. I would be able to do three coupons a week until I got you enough. I could post a picture of what the lampshade looks like. I just was in Walmart tonight and sometimes end up a Walmart 2&3 times a week. I wonder if Hobby Lobby has a website that you can order from. Wouldn't be able to use coupons.
