Default Replacement Molding

Does anyone have ideas/suggestions to replace the exterior molding on a 1988 Funmaker. It appears that the molding covers a seam from the overlapping fiberglass. I have some broken pieces and want to replace it all as I am working on my repaint project. What about vinyl molding that would be used on a boat?

Default Vinyl Molding

I bought all our HiLo dealer had recently. Try JR in Ohio or Midget repair in Ohio. Some of my molding I was able to use rattle can almond paint on. It is so much per foot maybe $100.00 to replace all. The trim covers wire. Ours is a 1990 25ft. Classic.

Isn't this lower molding used to seal against the bulb seal when the top is lowed? My is very like shown in the picture and doesn't look like it would be needed to cover the seam in that area. 25' 85 Classic Voyager, rear door

Jimmy1,
I think it has a dual purpose of covering the seam and sealing against the bulb seal. The picture I submitted does not show anything broken. This is the area to the right of the door. My broken pieces are on the other side of the trailer.

Dh corrected me. The bulb seal rests on this trim. Good luck in finding some trim.

In the picture, the molding looks like it could be replaced by "u-channel". I doubt the size would be too critical. I think I've seen aluminum u-channel in ACE hardware. If so, I think it comes in three foot lengths.

I'm not convinced it's a wire at all. Look at the molding. The screws holding it on would be going through the "wire" if that was what it was. Doesn't look a good installation to me. It's also "pinched" where it passes under the lift guide.

I can't tell from the picture, but it almost looks like a caulk bead.
