I am new to the forum. I am retired. I have a 1994 FunLite HiLo trailer in AZ. It has roof problems, i.e. rot in the forward corner. Does anyone have experience or constructive advice how to deal with this problem? Is there repair help located anywhere in Arizona?

Welcome to the Forum!

Stick around, someone will come forward with their rot repair experience. It has been dealt with quite often. You can go to the top of this page and do a search using words such as leak repair, rot repair, etc.

I would suggest that you change the title of your thread to something like 'rot repair help needed'. I can edit that for you.

Hi, Mikenwis - Wherebouts in Arizona is the trailer located? There ARE a number of RV repair places in the major cities, such as Phoenix, Tucson and maybe Flagstaff. But, there are NO places that specialize in HiLos, as far as I know. The good thing though, is that the kind of damage you are talking about is not unique to HiLos, so any decent repair place should be able to help you.

It is also something you may be able to fix yourself, if you have the skills and energy to do it. There are several threads in this forum about this type of problem and what was done to repair it. You mostly need basic carpentry skills.

DO change your title as Rich suggested, or, if you can't, ask him to do so.

- Jack
