Default awning parts

I have a "carefree" awning on my 1985 funchaser. A FREEDOM model awning.
I have contacted carefree and they no longer provide parts for that old of awning. This has been a common problem when dealing with Carefree for parts. Will not supply parts or numbers and have many models with the same name/similar
I am currently in Fl on vacation and am looking for a dealer that might stock old awning parts.
Hope that the forum can help!
The part I need is on the pull out head rail end that connects the side rails to the head rail.
The trip to Fl, from Reno nevada, was uneventful, with only 2 blowouts of unknown age tires. trailer has performed admirably. Fridge is dead, but all other items work well. I brought 2 extra 120V fridges so that base is covered.

Try a google seach for "RV salvage yards" you might find one in your area (I just know of one in california). The hunt might be fun!!

tried many resources today in my search to no avail.
I glued the parts together last night with gorilla glue and clamped.
turned out better than I expected.
No awning, is no issue.

I hope your glue job works. If not you can always pick up an easy up shelter for a sale price, much cheaper than a replacement awning.
