Where are you all from?
Seems like a high proportion from TN, PA, and the Pacific NW. I'm From Knoxville, TN but grew up in OH near the Belleville factory.

Southwestern PA

Born and raised in Michigan. Stationed all over, but mostly in So. Calif., while serving 24 years in the Navy. Idaho for the last 10 years. Actually, I don't think there are that many of us in the Pacific Northwest. We VERY rarely see a Hi-Lo on the road, or in a campground... and then they generally have plates from eastern states. Typically when we camp out here, we get a lot of curious folks coming around to chat, who've never seen or heard of the brand. Hi-Lo never made a big impact out here... in all of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, I only ever heard of three dealerships; and H-Lo was just a minor offering at those three. I've never really understood why.

Cooperstown in Northwestern PA where the oil industry began. Titusville, where Col. Drake's oil well was drilled is about 15 miles from here, and Oil City the original homes of Quaker State and Pennzoil were, is about 10 miles away. This was a pretty wild place about 150 years ago.

Napa,CA In the heart of wine country! Great wine & food. But seem to camp on the coast where ocean fishing is #1.

JIM L
Located in central Virginia. Would like to know how many HI-LO owners are in the mid Atlantic region that might want to form a club in this area |
originally from northern VA but now in WV...
@Jim L...i would be interested..please let me know if you get something going |
We have a 22 ft. Hi Lo and live in southern Oregon.
When our two children were still living at home, the first person to spot any Hi Lo would call out "HILo" and be rewarded with a quarter. |
Oregon,
If you don't mind my asking, are you located east, or west of the Cascades? Jim |
Where are you from?
Niagara Falls NY,The honeymoon capital of the world!!We also Have a HiLo camping club with 15-20 families that live all over NY state. Hi-Love NY. This year it is our tenth aniversary for the club.

Jim, we live in the Medford area. Where do you live?
|
Oregon,
We're in SW Idaho. If there were enough willing Hi-Lo owners in our general region, it could be fun to start a Pacific Northwest Hi-Lo Club. Jim |
Colorado, baby!
And from the looks of it so far, we may be the only ones... I'm feeling kinda lonely. Figured there would be way more out here in the Rockies, but perhaps they're just not the forum type. |

Cptmoney,
There are a bunch of us who are in Colorado or further west. If you're interested in joining a Hi-Lo Club, check out the Rocky Mountain Hi-Lo Club. They are VERY active in CO... I know because I'm a member. At the top of this thread is a good POC for the club (although I think Dick's E-mail address has changed). Jim |
