Default 1969 truck camper

Hey! I just bought a 69 hilo truck camper and I'm very excited to start the rebuild I'm looking for anyone that can share some images or knowledge of the truck camper as I haven't been able to find much online. Going next weekend to pick it up and I will post images

1969 truck camper, do you mean Hi-Lo truck camper or Hi-Lo motorhome? One of the Snyder family members (descendant of the Hi-Lo inventor and one of the owners of Hi-Lo Company) kept title to, I think, one of only three motorhomes which Hi-Lo built. When the company dissolved in July 2010, a photo was taken of Mr. Snyder with the motorhome which is on-line. I'll have to do a search to find it, and maybe we can put it in our Hi-Lo library. But in reading about company history, I haven't read about a truck camper. Would love to see a photo.

No it is actually one that fits in the back of it long bed truck. And I would love to know as much information as possible if there's any records. The only reason I think it is a 69 is advertising but the guy I bought it from thought it was a '71

Looks a great project, 1969! I suspect, this was originally a towed trailer that has been modified to fit in a truck bed. There was another member in the forum that did something similar.

Jack, I think you are right; this old trailer has been reconfigured for a "slide-in." But I do believe it's vintage 1969 as inside walls look like 1960s years. In searching, the closest I could come was an old Lance Model 1071 which is a slide-in model.
