In the process of purchasing
a 2004 1704T and don't have a manual. We live in a 55+ community with no place to store a RV on sight but do have a garage and believe that the 1704T will fit in the garage. There is a drop down bed and we are curious as to how much weight the bed will hold. Any one with a Manual or know what Max weight is for that bed? the more we play the more questions we will be asking. Hope to be able to answer some as time goes by.

Default Welcome to the forum.

Tried to do a search on the weight of a person in the bunk bed. Couldn't find a post. If my memory is right is 125 to 150lbs. Some use the bunk for storage. Be sure to watch the operational videos and keep up on yuour preventive maintenance. The operational manuals are pretty lame and don't change much from year to year. See what is posted in the library. Keep posted.

EdOsmar Welcome to the world of HiLo. According to the video HiLo produced for their trailers: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f49...-youtube-1233/
Post #3, video 24, the bunk can support up to 350#!!!

Now, I don't think I'd want a whale like that up there above me, so I'd limit it to maybe, 200#. But, the factory installed cushion is quite thin and less than "firm", so if you put anybody other than one or two kids up there, I'd upgrade the cushion.

Spend some time reviewing ALL the videos - they will answer questions you didn't know you had.
