Default New owner, first rv

I got a 1994 fun chaser 22L today. My first camper. It is in pretty good shape with just a few fixer ups needed. The fridge doesn't seem to work but I'll try to research for a fix. The ac will freeze your buns off. The one thing missing is a owners manual. Haven't been able to locate one on the web yet. Anyway I'mexcited about my new used camper.

Hi and welcome, Don. Look through the Reference Library here: Hi-Lo Owners Manual - Hi-Lo camper travel trailer forum

On the listings in the first page, there's a manual for the 1995 Tow Lite. If you don't find the 1994 version, this will probably tell you all you need to know. There are very FEW changes (maybe even none) from year to year in HiLos, so if you find a manual that's close to your model year, it's probably all you need. And, HiLo only published ONE manual per year for all the models made that year, so don't waste your time looking for one that's specific to the 22 ft models. The manuals are generic.

Hope you enjoy your camper. My fridge doesn't work and I'm having some squirrely issues with the 12 volt lights but I'll work through it.

I also had some issues with 2 of the 4 candle lights, and my exterior door light that is located above the grab handle. I have not addressed this yet. My Fridge I thought was not working but it is it just takes 3 hrs to get cold if you are running it on 120v. Did you try yours on LP

The fridge does not make any sound when working unlike a conventional one.

Holzie, Ensure you turn on the refer fan, even while on 120v. This fan runs off12v, but helps keep the fridge running efficiently. If it's original, you'll hear it! Keep plugging away you'll get there, and learn a lot doing it.

Holzie, The fan switch for the refer should be near the h2o ignition and tank level indicators. As you go along and get to know the unit better, the folks here can guide you thru some modifications that will improve life in a Hi Lo.
