Default Welcome to the forum

We did the same thing. Upgraded from a pop up to a 25ft. Classic(heavier). I wanted to "be a spoiled brat and just open the door and go in to upgraded luxery". Best decision we ever made. We just left our porcelin toilet in the HiLo. When you are out camping you can drain off some grey water in a bucket to put out the campfire. Use the shower facilities at your camp ground. With flip flops. Best of luck with your new "toy".

What are you towing it with?
Be careful of your charging line amps while towing with the refrigerator on 12 volts , it will pull 14 amps

Nadine, we turn off frig when towing due to not enuf amps to trailer however, we put two 4" x 4" covered containers containing solid ice plus 2 covered ice cube trays. Trays are put in freezer, 4 x 4s in the frig. We put a C battery operated fan in frig too. Also we keep an indoor/outdoor temp sensor in frig and record a 2 to 4 degree temperature loss upon arriving at destination.

Dry ice is another remedy. Stays colder longer and NO water when melted. There ARE safety precautions though!
