Why is the weight of a 2003 22' 500 lbs heavier than a 2004 and newer ones? Construction change?

We've had a 20' trailmanor and an older 28' hi lo. Now looking at buying either a 2003 or 2008 22' tow lite that are for sale. What is hitch weight? Our trailmanor was towed with a Honda Ridgeline...
